Andres recently returned to NPAG after joining The Democracy Fund in 2022 as an internal recruiter. Prior to his tenure at NPAG from 2020-2022, he spent three years working with think thanks and local non-profits in D.C. His early experiences supporting major fundraising teams led him to pursue a career in diverse executive recruitment and consulting. ​

Andres served as the Assistant Director for Development Operations at the Atlantic Council, where he developed processes and standard operating processes to support fundraising at the organization. At the Atlantic Council, Andres was also a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, which worked to address DEI issues at every level. He joined the Atlantic Council from Freedom House, a democracy and human rights organization where Andres was a Development Associate. In this capacity, he researched prospects and helped develop fundraising strategies to meet their goals. ​

Andres is currently a board member/part-time fundraising consultant for Districtonia, a local nonprofit that provides opportunities for low-income youth to pursue a future in soccer, be it as players, coaches, or even referees. ​

Andres earned a Master of Science in International Affairs from Georgia Tech, concentrating in development and human rights. He earned his Bachelor of Science in International Affairs at Georgia Tech as well.
