Jahkedda AkbarResearch Associate connect on LinkedIn Jahkedda leads strategic research development and provides client-facing support for NPAG in collaboration with NPAG leadership and client-organizations. Prior to joining NPAG, she honed a keen understanding of the underlying needs of mission-driven organizations as she developed and managed programs that ranged from at-risk youth academic engagement to capacity-building initiatives for nonprofit executives. Working with organizations such as the UN International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women (UN-INSTRAW), Leader to Leader: The Peter Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management, and The Center for Urban Education, Jahkedda has collaborated with executives in the public, nonprofit, higher education and corporate sectors to provide support and further their respective missions.
Matching her career passion with her
academic pursuits, Jahkedda pursued an MPA from NYU Robert F.
Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, a Bachelors of Arts in
Psychology (focus in organizational psychology) from Pace
University, and continues her professional development with
courses in marketing and brand management. |
