Hello!
Thank you for subscribing
to our job seeker
newsletter.
In this edition, you'll
find helpful tips,
a feature
article covering a topic central to your
search, as
well
as information regarding our consulting
services.
This
newsletter is meant to help you in your
search. To
that end, your feedback is appreciated so
that we
may continue to improve what we offer.
Let's Face It. Sometimes It's Who You Know.
For the past several months,
Nonprofit Professionals' Director of Candidate
Services, Erin O'Connor Jones, has been blogging for
Change.org about transitioning from the corporate
world to
the nonprofit sector. One of her most popular posts is
about networking, something that strikes fear in the
heart of even the most confident job seeker.
If you are starting your job search today, or even if you've been at it awhile, this is a must-read for anyone who is interested in those many, many unadvertised jobs filled each day.
For example, do you know how to: 1. Expand your traditional network? 2. Maximize your volunteer time? 3. Be visible everywhere?
